Kristallnacht Commemoration Lecture Sunday, November 10th

The 75th Anniversary of Kristallnacht--two days of Nazi pogroms in which more than 1,000 synagogues were burned and thousands of Jewish men sent to their certain death in concentration camps (November 9 and 10, 1938), will be commemorated in the Romita Auditorium of Iona College, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle on Sunday, November 10th at 3:30 PM. 

Sponsored by the Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center and the Driscoll Professorship in Jewish-Catholic Studies of Iona College, the commemoration features a "Distinguished Lecture" on "The Christian Response to the Kristallnacht November Pogrom," by Dr. Katharina von Kellenbach, Professor of Religious Studies at St. Mary's College (Maryland).
