JUILLIARD MUSICIANS JOIN YOUTH SYMPHONY!

Students from the Juilliard School of Music will be joining the Southern Hudson Valley Youth Symphony for their premiere spring concert. The full orchestra will also include students from the Manhattan School of Music.

Alex Marrero, Executive Director of the Youth Symphony, invited students from both conservatories to join the ensemble.

The program will include the Ballet Suite to Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, the Variations on a Shaker Hymn by Copland, and the "Can-Can" from Orpheus by Offenbach.

The side by side by side performance will be presented on Sunday May 4th at 3:30 PM, and the triple joint venture will take place at Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, located in Orange County, New York.

Tickets are available at the door. Cost of admission is $12 for adults, and $8 for students and seniors.
