How Germany Commemorates The Holocaust In Memorials

“How
Germany Commemorates The Holocaust In Memorials and Monuments: Creation and
Controversy,” a free program with expert speakers, sponsored by the
Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center, is coming this Monday, February
10th at 1 PM to the Greenburgh Library, 300 E. Main St, Elmsford, NY.

This program will show how Germany has confronted Holocaust
history by creating different kinds of remembrances.  Leading the program
are Julia Scallero and Steve Goldberg, co-directors of Education for the
Holocaust and Human Rights Education Center, who will discuss various types of
memorials, including the most up-to-date sites.

Ms. Scallero and Mr. Goldberg are the past and current Presidents, respectively, of the
Westchester Lower Hudson Council for the Social Studies.
