SCORE Westchester presents a free workshop on business interruption preparedness planning for local small businesses in Westchester County. The workshop entitled Business Interruption Preparedness/Recovery For Small Businesses will be presented by information technology expert Anthony Tedesco and SCORE mentor Charles Auerbach. The focus will be on key elements of business interruption preparedness, including:
· Assessing the risk of critical business functions and computer systems
· Arranging for alternative supply sources and location
· Designing and implementing emergency management and crisis communication plans
The presentation will also discuss how to assemble an emergency supply kit and the importance of reviewing insurance coverage.
