In order to qualify, you have to meet these requirements:
Be at least 18 years old.
Demonstrate good moral character (for example, no criminal records for the last 5 years)
Be a Permanent Resident for 5 years or 3 years if married to a United States Citizen for at least 3 years
Pass the United States Civics and History exam
Speak and understand basic English
Bring a $680.00 Money Order payable to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (You MAY qualify for a fee waiver if you bring proof that you have low income, someone in your household receives public benefits (bring DSS budget letter, SSI letter or other proof that you receive a benefit) and/or you are experiencing financial hardship).
$20 for mail and handling
