You’re invited to the opening of a new exhibition exploring the lives of the scores of Civil War veterans buried in the historic cemetery, and chronicling the struggles of a parish and town with the great issues of the national conflict of 1861-1865.  The event features a 1:30 PM talk about the role of religion in the Civil War by Professor Robert T. Valentine of Lehman College.  There will also be afternoon re-enactments commemorating President’s Day and Black History Month.  Historic crafts for children throughout the day.
