Polar Bear Plunge Run & Plunge at New York Sports Clubs

Everyone is a winner at the Tuff Kids Polar Bear Run & Plunge to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In this challenging event, kids have a blast navigating through land and water obstacles and relays. After the event, cool down with food, games and prizes at the Polar Bear Party. It's a win-win for everyone—kids get active and money is raised for a good cause. Join us and work out to help out!


When: January 5, 9am-12pm
at New York Sports Clubs in Dobbs Ferry


Who: Kids ages 4-13. Nonmembers are welcome. Some swimming experience required (swim vests will be available).


Cost: $30 through December 18, $35 afterwards. T-shirts guaranteed to participants who register by December 18.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
