The New Rochelle
League of Women Voters Coffee and Conversation at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza, will return on Friday, February 15, at 9:30 a.m. Guest Alexander Tergis, Commissioner of Public Works, will discuss how his department is responding to the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, plans for handling future weather-related calamities, and other department challenges. The Public Works department's responsibilities include maintenance of all the city facilities, garbage and trash pickup, snow
removal, street and tree maintenance.
