Performed by Capitol Heights Lyric Opera

Second Annual Demita Gerber Memorial Concert

Performance lasts 2 hours with a 10 minute intermission.

Carmen, the beautiful gypsy girl who loves her freedom more than life itself, wins the heart of Don Jose, only to toss him aside when the dashing Toreador Escamillo appears.

This event will take place in the Library’s Multipurpose Room.

Space is limited. Please be punctual.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any other…Read More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
