Incoming Tide Entertainment presents four distinguished authors discussing their writing process and the creative muse at the PAC House Theater, Saturday, November 10th from 3 pm - 5 pm.


The panel will include Inga Watkins, author of From Faux Pas to Fabulous, a go-to book that teaches manners for youth and adults.  Ms. Watkins is the founder of the Modelquette program for students of all ages that enables them to build their self-confidence through professional and social etiquette workshops.


Dr. Vijay Giles, author of Unusual L.E.M.O.N.A.D.E., is also a panelist and her instructive book provides teachers and parents with strategies to improve learning for students who face many challenges in the urban landscape.


Tonya Bolden, an award-winning author of books for young readers, will also be a panelist.  Ms. Bolden is the author of more than twenty books including the Coretta Scott King honor book Maritcha, her forthcoming book is Emancipation Proclamation.


Author/journalist Linda Tarrant-Reid will moderate the discussion and share her experiences about writing her current book, Discovering Black America.


Books by the authors will be available to purchase and for autographing.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
