Coffee and Conversation Friday, Sept. 20, with Ivar

Discussion on the  Importance of the Arts to New
Rochelle
 
    
City Councilman Ivar Hyden will lead a discussion on "The Importance of
the Arts in New Rochelle" at a Coffee and Conversation sponsored by the League
of Women Voters of New Rochelle this Friday, September  20, from 9:30 to 11
a.m.. at the New Rochelle Public Library, 1 Library Plaza. 
  Mr. Hyden, owner of Backstreet Gallery in downtown New Rochelle, has
long supported the arts as  an essential part of a vibrant urban community. He
will also describe the New Rochelle and Pelham ArtsFest  which takes place the
weekend of September 28 and 29.
    Coffee and light refreshments will be served. For further information,
