Letter to the Editor: Maisano Deserves Re-election

I encourage all New Rochelle and Pelham residents to vote for Jim Maisano for county legislator on Election Day.  

Jim is a life-long new Rochelle resident that knows his district very well—Jim knows every neighborhood and has visited every street. Jim is proud to raise his family in the city where he grew up.  

His life has always been about public service—service to county in the Marine Corps, service to city in civic groups and service to community as county legislator. 

Jim has worked diligently to hold the line on taxes, cut wasteful spending, protect our environment and preserve our neighborhoods, while serving as an independent voice and respected leader in the county government.  

His brand of common sense, bipartisan leadership has allowed him to be a great advocate for New Rochelle and Pelham. Whether it’s working to get the necessary funding to make City Park a first class athletic facility, or bringing together members of both major parties in order to construct a responsible and sustainable county budget, Jim’s record is one of proven results.  

I’ve been proud to vote for Jim Maisano in the past, and I’m especially proud to do so again this November 5. Jim is the experienced, independent voice we want fighting for us for another two years.
