County Releases Complete Unofficial Counts for Legislature Votes

Two incumbents were returned to office.

The Westchester County Board of Elections has completed the machine counts from Tuesday's election.

With 100 percent of districts reporting, the following are the unofficial results for County Legislator for Districts 7, 10 and 11. The results still have to be certified.

In District 7, which contains Mamaroneck, Rye, Larchmont and parts of New Rochelle and Harrison, Catherine Parker (D, I) received 6,475 votes—50 percent of the total. John Verni (R, C, I, G) received 6,087 votes—or 47 percent of the vote. Thomas Murphy (W) received 430 votes—or 3 percent.

In District 10, which contains Eastchester, Tuckahoe and part of New Rochelle, incumbent Sheila Marcotte (R, C, I) came out on top with 6,254 votes—or 52 percent of the votes. Her opponent, Mary Jo Jacobs (D, WF) received 5,819 votes—or 48 percent of those cast.

In District 11, which is comprised of Pelham, Pelham Manor and part of New Rochelle, incumbent James Maisano (R, C, WF, I) bested Stavros Pantelis (D) with 5,536 votes to 2,642 for Pantelis. Maisano received 68 percent of the vote; Pantelis, 32 percent.
