New Moms Celebrate Their First Mother's Day

There's no better gift for Mother's Day than a child.

Sandra Labiosa of Harrison has spent her life celebrating Mother's Day with and for her mom, Ada Angarano, also of Harrison. But this year she joins many other first-time moms, making today's celebration an extra special day.

Labiosa had her first child, her daughter Stevie Marie, on Jan. 27. On Saturday, young Stevie Marie just wanted to finish her bottle on the porch of their home and was less interested in posing for pictures with mom and grandma.

But grandmas have a way with their grandchildren and Angarano soon had Stevie forgetting about the bottle and looking at her as her photo was taken with her mom, probably not unlike Labiosa's grandmother had done to her years ago.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, both new and not-so-new.
