Due to construction, the main building will be closed Tuesday.
Spokeswoman Barbara Davis said a cooling tower is being mounted on to the roof of the library, located between Memorial Highway and Lawton Street, which will pose safety issues around the building. This cooling tower is necessary to ensure continued air conditioning in the library.
The will be open during its normal hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The main library will be open at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
