Spanky, the cat

Spanky is a four-year old spayed female with a soft black coat and sparkling green eyes. She was an  owner-surrender, and she is used to doing her own thing. Spanky is affectionate and loves to be with people, but she isn't comfortable around other cats.While Spanky is adjusting to life at the shelter, I often walk in to the cat room and find her up on a high shelf or alone in a cubby. She loves human attention and comes right up to you, purring and chatting. This communicative girl wears her heart on her sleeve-because she "talks" you can always tell what mood she is in. Spanky would do best in a quiet home where she can be the only cat-perhaps a single person or couple, even a family with older children, who could respect her need for space. Let this sweet girl come to you, and I promise you will never regret it.
