NRCCS: It's THE go-to community resource in New Rochelle!

Did you ever wonder how to find out about services in New Rochelle?
The New Rochelle Council of Community Services is the place to turn.

Established in 1936, The New Rochelle Council of Community Services (NRCCS) is a 501c3 non-profit umbrella organization for the health and human service agencies, religious institutions, and educational facilities of New Rochelle.  This includes entities situated outside New Rochelle that also serve the city.

NRCCS is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of up to 36 members who are representative of community agencies, organizations or institutions, or community-involved individuals.  It is designed to be inclusive, consistent with its purpose and mission. NRCCS welcomes organizations, businesses and individuals that represent the community of New Rochelle to be Friends of the Council.  NRCCS provides an important opportunity for service-providers and community administrators to make vital connections.  Through round-table sharing and networking at monthly meetings, and electronic distribution of flyers and current information, NRCCS members gain information and resources to better serve their constituents.

NRCCS holds monthly luncheon meetings for its board members, Friends of the Council, and guests at the sites of the represented organizations, September - May.

On the first Thursday of June, NRCSS holds an annual luncheon recognizing four community leaders.   See this Patch article to learn more about this year's luncheon, to take place June 6:

The New Rochelle Community For All Ages initiative (CFAA),  funded by United Way and the Helen Andrus Benedict Foundation, is administered by NRCCS.   CFAA will be posting information about NRCCS's members on Patch a regular basis, to inform the community of services and happenings.
