Traditional Italian Returns to New Rochelle With Mamma Francesca

The restaurant will be open Christmas Eve as well as New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Mamma Francesca's is back on Pelham Road in New Rochelle.

Most recently, owner Nick Di Costanzo had rebranded the restaurant Capriccio Latino, and before that, it was Siete Ocho Siete.

Costanzo said there will be no more changes.

The menu, overseen by Chef Roberto, who was recruited from the resort area of Ischia, Italy, will feature traditional Italian dishes, including Lignuini Campo e Mare (linguini pasta over artichoke, shrimp, garlic, onion and pomodoro di collina), Ragu della Nonna (pork ribs, meatballs, braciiole in tomato sauce) and Vitello Caprese (wild mushrooms, onions, aromatic wine & fava beans).
