Orchard Beach Park and Ride Convenient to NYC

The MTA is trying to make the commute easier while it gets back to capacity.

As Metro-North continues to work on increasing capacity due to its electrical problems, it is operating emergency park and ride locations in an effort to get its riders to the city as easily as possible.

One location convenient to commuters along the Sound Shore is at Orchard Beach.

MTA is offering a free shuttle bus to the Pelham Bay Park No. 6 subway stop from the Park and Ride lot at Orchard Beach (Pelham Bridge Road/Shore Road and Orchard Beach).
