With the cutting of a red ribbon with oversize scissors, the new Key Food Superstore opened its doors at 366 Pelham Rd. Wednesday in New Rochelle.
Close to 50 people were waiting with carts at hand to shop at the former A&P supermarket.
About 200 jobs will be created at the new store, said Uncle Giuseppe's President and CEO Philip Del Prete. The 33,000-square-foot facility is an independently owned Key Food store.
