New Rochelle Arts Council Elects New Officers

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts has elected new officers for 2014-16.

Theresa Kump Leghorn, the current co-president, was elected president, succeeding Judith Weber, who will remain on the board of directors.

“I’m honored to be NRCA’s next president, and to follow in the footsteps of my friend Judith Weber,” Leghorn said. “Judith’s leadership helped NRCA grow, with some exciting public art projects, the development of a lecture series geared toward artists and the creation of ArtsFest, among other things, and I look forward to NRCA’s continued growth as an advocate for the arts in New Rochelle.”
