2. Labyrinth

Why go: This 1986 fantasy film blends live actors, including David Bowie, with puppets and was directed by Muppets master Jim Henson. The movie is recommended for ages 7 and up.

3. Baby Steps

Why go: Join a half-hour session of early library and socialization for ages 3 to 18 months through music, movement and finger games.

4. Weinberg Nature Center's Adventures

Why go: The nature adventure every second and fourth Saturday of each month has activities that include hikes, crafts, games and the chance to meet all the intriguing animals that live at the nature center.

Why go: For ages 5 and up, this workshop introduces your children to classical music without the formality of an adult-only concert. The workshop includes live performances and discussion.
