1. Sports Extravaganza Vacation Programs at the Jewish Community Center of Mid-Westchester
Where/When: JCC of Mid-Westchester, 999 Wilmot Rd., Scarsdale, Week 1, Dec. 19-23, Week 2, Dec. 26-30, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Why Go: Children ages 6-10 can participate in a fun-filled week incorporating team sports led by an experienced staff. Aquatic activities will be held on Wednesdays. Snacks and a film will round out this busy midweek day.
Pricing: $275 for the week; $70 for a day; special rate of $500 for both weeks.

Why Go: Children 18 months-5 years old can enjoy a wonderful time at the Nature Center with walks, live animals and stories. Except during extreme weather conditions, a portion of each class is spent outdoors.
Pricing: Nonmembers: $9, adults; $7, children. Members: $5, adults; $4, children.
3. 36th Annual Mini Dollhouse Art Exhibit
Where/When: Historical Society of Rockland County at The Jacob Blauvelt House, 20 Zukor Rd. New City, Wednesday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m. Ongoing until Feb. 26.
Why Go: See miniature fine art, quilts and dollhouses.
Pricing: $7; $3 for seniors, children 3-12 and HSRC Members.

4. Drop in Holiday Family Craft Workshop
Where/When: Larchmont Public Library, 121 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont, Friday, Dec. 23, 2-4 p.m.
Why Go: Children age 4 and older will have fun with crafts from making picture frames to candles.
Pricing: Free.
5. The Wonton Ball
Where/When: Greenburgh Hebrew Center, 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry, Saturday, Dec. 24, 6-11 p.m.
Why Go: Chinese food, latkes, DJ and dancing.
Pricing: Adults, dinner and dancing, $25 in advance, $30 at the door; children 3-15, $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
