The upcoming weekend is full of Thanksgiving Day events and musical performances.

Why Go: Listen to the unique musical experience of swing-style jazz combined with Broadway classics. Tony-nominee Robert Cucciolo with Natalie Douglas, Terese Genecco, Stephen Wallem and The Barry Levitt Trio put on this special performance.
Pricing:
$28 adults; $20 high school age and younger.

, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle, Saturday, Nov. 19, 4 p.m.
Why Go: Concert pianist, Frederick Moyer, performs musical arrangements by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and others at the Ossie Davis Theater.

Suggested donation of $2.

Where/When: , 459 Main St., New Rochelle, Saturday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go: New Rochelle throws a Thanksgiving Day Parade, which starts at New Rochelle High School, goes down Main Street and ends at Maple Avenue. There will be clowns, marching bands and floats. Before the parade, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., there will be a pancake breakfast at New Rochelle High School's new wing cafeteria benefiting the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence. It's $3 for 18 years and under and senior citizens; $5 for adults.

Hudson Yoga Studio, 5 Old Post Rd. S., Croton on Hudson, Sunday, Nov. 20, 4–6 p.m.
Why Go:
Breast cancer survivor Lisa Nachtigall is a certified Prana yoga instructor who is holding classes that incorporate yoga and meditation to help mitigate ailments, such as cancer. Due to limited space, registration is required.

Free.

Pets Alive Westchester, 100 S Warehouse Lane, Elmsford, Saturday, Nov. 19, Sunday, Nov. 20, All day (both days)
Why Go:
Pets Alive Westchester is waiving all adoption fees for cats. All adoptable cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and have all their shots.
