Feature Film Shot at College of New Rochelle

The writer and director hopes to through light on eating disorders.

The College of New Rochelle was the site this summer for the filming of an independent film.

Little Miss Perfect, starring Karlee Roberts, Isabella Palmieri and Jeremy Fernandez and directed and written by Marlee Roberts, is a drama about a high-school freshman who discovers an online community that supports eating disorders and begins starving herself.

Roberts has produced over 20 independent projects. She made her directorial debut with the anti-bullying music video Call Me Whatever. She believes that by destigmatizing anorexia those hiding it will be encourage to speak out and seek recovery.

The film is set at an all-girls prep school, and various College of New Rochelle locations, including Leland Castle, were used in the movie.
