Sunday in the Park 'South of the Border'

Enjoy an afternoon of music and art in the park as the New Rochelle Council on the Arts presents "Sunday in the Park South of the Border" on Sunday, July 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. (rain date July 31.) at Davenport Park. Mambo, merengue, rumba and cha-cha to the sounds of the steel band group “Island Magic.” Artists will be set up around the park, creating new work on site, and comic Joe Fields will be on hand to delight children with his magic tricks and balloon animals, while caricaturist Desi Sienty will amuse all ages with clever drawings. You can bring your own picnic or purchase food from vendors who will be selling hamburgers, ice cream and soda.
