Restoration (Boker Tov Adon Fidelman) -

  • Nominated for 11 Israeli Academy Film Awards in 2011
  • Winner of Best Feature Film at the Jerusalem Film Festival
  • Winner of Best Screenplay at Sundance

In the wake of his business partner's death, Yaakov Fidelman (Sasson Gabai) must put himself against his own son, Noah, to save his antique restoration workshop from collapse. While Noah seems determined to sell the failing business, Yaakov enlists the help of a mysterious young apprentice, Anton in making enough money to keep the shop afloat. Tensions rise as soon Anton finds himself battling Noah for the affections of not just Yaakov, but also Noah's pregnant wife, Hava (Sarah Adler).

“A handsome production of intriguing and perhaps incongruous surfaces…Gabay gives a terrific performance.” (Variety)
