Scared by the Sound

Located along side the Long Island Sound and behind the gated walls of Historic Playland Amusement Park in Rye, the Scared by the Sound Haunted House is open only in the month of October. Now in our second decade of haunting, SBTS is truly hitting its' stride. More detailed and elaborate scenes combined with even more intense startles and scares is what makes this the must see interactive haunt in the Northeast this and every Halloween season. Experience for yourself with family members or a friend or group of friends what has terrified tens of thousands of guests over the years. Don't forget to take advantage of early season discounts and on-line ticketing to make your visit even more frightfully enjoyable as you are dared to be Scared by the Sound! ADVISORY: This is a walk-through dark attraction. Night time event may be too scary for children under 8 years of age, alone or with an adult.
