Echo Bay Youth Blues Festival Supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Wildcliff is host to the Echo Bay Youth Blues Festival in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Musicians under 18 years take the stage all weekend.

The Youth Arts Forum a 501(c)3 organization produces regional concerts with youngsters ranging from 12 to 17 years of age. The weekend at Wildcliff Sculpture Garden is filled with musicians ranging from alternative rock, blues, jazz, hip-hop and R&B. Proceeds from event are donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Here is a partial list of the youngsters who will participate in this amazing weekend: Featured Artist: Alex Shaw, Brittneyann Accetta, Brandon Bailey, Jon Capriotti,Chelsea Cavanaugh, Cal Kehoe, Whitney Kelly, Nikolas Killa, Christopher McGinnis, Emma Petts, TJ Prodigy, Bryan Schwab, and Chris United.

It seemed to me the key point of moving the City Yard from the waterfront was to open up theRead More waterfront and turn that run down and obsolete yard into a public park overlooking Long Island Sound. The westside site was the most cost effective place to move the yard. Not ideal, but no real alternative has been proposed. I don't think this has much to do with racism. All races can enjoy more of the waterfront. Any development around it will add to our tax base

I don't think the recent public discussions has resulted in unanimity in terms of the waterfront being an entirely public venue for all races to enjoy.
