The New Rochelle Public Library's Lumen Winter Gallery will have a Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos) art exhibit on display, created by city residents of Mexican descent. (The exhibit will be presented for public viewing on Oct. 29.)
This Mexican holiday is a festive commemoration of deceased family and friends.
A Day of the Dead family craft workshop will take place from 6-6:45 p.m., followed with a performance by a mariachi group at 7 p.m. in the Library Green.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the Ossie Davis Theater.
