Art Exhibit

Beth El members Ellen Hollander and Manfred Simon have a joint exhibit of their paintings at the Kanner-Kurzon Museum at Beth El Synagogue Center, from Saturday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 2.

There will be an artists’ reception Sunday, Aug. 28, from noon to 2:30 p.m., and all are invited.

Hollander’s work is in oil, but she also does gouache, watercolor and ink calligraphy ketubot. This is her second exhibit here. Hollander also has participated in many group exhibits at Greenburgh Town Hall and at the Fairview/Greenburgh Center. She is a former New York City junior high school art teacher. She also taught Judaic Arts and Crafts at Bet Am Shalom and at the Beth El’s religious school for 25 years.
