On Monday, at 2 p.m., the library will screen The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle, which stars Astaire and Rogers. They play the renowned ballroom dancers in the years before World War I.

The movie is part of the series "Set in New Rochelle," which is part of the city's 325th Anniversary celebration.

The film begins in New Rochelle, where Irene Foote Castle—who was a 2011 New Rochelle Walk of Fame inductee—lived with her parents prior to meeting Vernon Castle at the New Rochelle Rowing Club.

There is no charge for viewing the 93-minute, black-and-white film.
