Where in New Ro Were We?

Patch's weekly location-guessing game that tests your knowledge of the Queen City of the Sound.

2:35 p.m., March 5, 2012: Picture No. 5 is up and ready for guessing. Good luck.

12:30 p.m., March 4, 2012: Here are the third and fourth pictures. Sorry for missing yesterday.

2:45 p.m., March 2, 2012: Here is picture No. 2. Be sure and check the New Rochelle Patch Facebook page for additional clues.

Well, it's score one for Charlene. Nobody guessed the correct location for last week's game, which was Park Avenue, between Pelham Road and Soundview Street. Yes, Soundview.

So we start a new game today. Will Charlene best all of you once again?

Do you know where this shot was taken? If you do, put your answer in the comments below. The first person to give the correct answer wins bragging rights and some goodies from Patch.

If no one gets it right today, I'll put up another picture tomorrow. And I will keep doing so each day until someone gets it right. We have enough pictures and they are doozies this week.

Play on, People of Patch.

Once again Brian, YCMU. Deceptive pictures? Stop making me laugh, you're killing me. U R 2 funny. I bet you you would say the same about my final clue. Park Ave. was the answer to last weeks location. A bit of trivia knowledge is in order: My comment/clue about the number 4 was in reference to the original name of Park Ave. in NYC. Before it officially became "Park Avenue", that same north, south tree lines strip was know as 4th Avenue. See...a give away clue! Good luck this week. I love this game :-)

But still the wrong answer :-(. Take those grapes and freeze the. Frozen grapes are delicious.

I am embarrassed to admit it but I am on Park Ave. 3 or 4 days a week , and could not name the winning answer. Thus my comment of deceptive pictures. So much for my unfair advantage. Having my head up my --- , explains why I haven't won a game since Oct. 6 th. Game is definitely on LOL .

HOLY MOLEY..... being stubborn can be a major fault. Please accept my apologies. I was just trying to get Charlene's goat. She is a tough one to match wits with. The game is not just about the right location !!
Brian O March 05, 2012 at 12:04 AM
I even poked fun at myself in my comments. ooops..... that's not letting it go . BTW... Bugging The Web-host is not my intention. ICMU.... just trying to liven up another boring day . LOL

In the name of all things sacred.... M.W. was that a hint Michael . I took it as a hint which helped in my guess. Thanks all, take away the leap year and it's been 5 months since my last win. Long over due.
CP Goldberg March 07, 2012 at 02:15 AM
In the name of all things sacred indeed. Five months! No wonder you've been cranky. Will it be another 5 months before another win? Only time will tell. For now, savor this week's win. Congratulations.
Brian O March 07, 2012 at 03:38 AM
