Light Snow Overnight Should Not Affect Morning Commute Much

Only about an inch is expected in the latest snow go-round.

Another blast of winter is headed to Westchester County overnight, but accumulation is expected to be only an inch, with sunshine on the morning of Feb. 10.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow will begin to fall in southern Westchester County in mid-to-late afternoon.

The light but steady snow is expected to continue into the early nighttime hours, with the entire region dry by daybreak.

Accumulation will be just about an inch across the entire area.

P.S. that's not the end of it: The potential exists for another storm system to head up the coast mid-to-late week, although "uncertainty" still exists as to possible temperatures; the precipitation could possibly present itself in the area as rain.
