Photos From Friday's "Mess Fest" in Pelham

More than 50 kids showed up for WyldLife of Lower Westchester's first annual "Mess Fest."


Here are photos from WyldLife of Lower Westchester's   on Friday.

The event, a series of games that make creative use of condiments and other food items, took place during the Youth 2 Youth annual end of the year barbecue at the , located on 1415 Pelhamdale Ave in Pelham.

WyldLife is the youth ministry for Young Life,  a non-denominational Christian nonprofit  organization for middle school, high school and college students. The local WyldLife club has about 50 students from Pelham, Mount Vernon, Bronxville and New Rochelle. 

Youth 2 Youth is a collaboration between  and PACT that offers its local students fun and engaging activities and the chance to help organize them. The events range from climbing at the  to open mic nights at .

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
