New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade [VIDEO]

This was the 49th annual Valenti Thanksgiving Parade in New Rochelle.

Hundreds of New Rochelle residents lined North Avenue and Main Street to watch the 49th annual Valenti Thanksgiving Parade Saturday.

The parade was sponsored by the City of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and featured Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino as the Grand Marshall.

As in past years, there were marching bands, floats, schools, local businesses, clowns and, of course, an appearance by Santa Claus.

See New Rochelle Patch's story and pictures from the pre-parade pancake breakfast by clicking here.

If you have pictures or video from the parade, please upload it.

This is my son's freshman year at New Rochelle High School. He plays clarinet in the band. I wish you took more pictures of the band.

I didn't recognize the man with the purple wig watching the parade that waved to me. Let me know who you are! I just now uploaded 20+ pix of the parade. It was a beautiful day. Congratulations to the organizers and participants.

Thanks for taking the video. I missed the parade due to a storm injury. I'm glad you got some shots of the karate school walking - Taikushink School of Karate www.NewRochelleKarate.com They participated in the parade last year as well.
