New Rochelle City Council Holds Special Meeting
The City Council will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 23. At 7 p.m., the council will meet in the council conference room to discuss and possibly vote on an agreement to lease property at 2 Pelham Rd. and to amend the 2013 budget to accept a Justice Department grant. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a public hearing on the final environmental impact statement for the Echo Bay Waterfront Redevelopment Project. City Hall is located at 515 North Ave.

Music of the Middle East
As part of the New Rochelle Public Library's International Music & Dance program, renowned dancer and belly dance instructor Aszmara will perform to the sounds of Arabia and the Middle East. The performance starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23. The library is located at 1 Library Plz.
