Through Saturday, the sidewalks of New Rochelle will contain more bargains than usual.
The New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District is holding its spring edition of the Sidewalk Sale. Wednesday it was under more summer-like weather after several days of early spring temperatures.
BID Executive Director Ralph DiBart said it was a chance for merchants get more people aware of their shops.
"There will be a lot of bargains," he said. "And go inside the stores, too, because it feels a lot like summer."
