Meet Your Farmers Market Vendors

This week we profile one of the newest vendors to join the New Rochelle Farmers Market.

Each week the New Rochelle Patch will take a moment to introduce you to one of the vendors visiting New Rochelle each week for the .

This week we introduce you to: Acevedo’s Farm.

Vendor: Ernesto Acevedo.

Items Sold: Purslane, amaranth, lettuce, cilantro, radishes, Swiss chard, heirloom vegetables, vegetable seedlings.

Favorite Item Sold: Amaranth.

Location: Middletown.

Phone: 845-741-8237.

The is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays at the Library Green, Huguenot and Lawton streets.
