The boating community from around the Long Island Sound will be decorating its vessels for the annual "Holiday Lighted Boat Parade" Saturday in New Rochelle.
At 8:30 p.m. boats will begin at the Hudson Park sundeck and travel west along the city's shoreline, ending in front of the Glen Island Casino.
Last year, about 30 boats were in the parade.
This fifth annual event showcases the sound and the city's waterfront and public parks.
The best public viewing will be along Hudson and Neptune Parks.
Applications (found here) will be accepted until 3 p.m. Friday, August 2.
