Grab & Go Kids Planner: Pirates, Pet Pictures and Playground

Activities for the younger set for the weekend.

Why go: The Westchester Reform Temple Early Childhood Center provides a drop-in playgroup for moms, dads, caregivers and grandparents. This program is free and all are welcome. 
Pricing: Free.

 , 1 Library Plaza, Saturday, June 2, 10-10:30 a.m. and , 11-11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Certified kids yoga instructor Susan Fried will use puppets, props and songs, taking toddlers on a "yoga adventure." Adult participation is  encouraged. Suggested for ages 12-23 months.

3. Where/When: , 114 S Kensico Ave, White Plains, Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why go: Bring the kids—furry and otherwise—to Best Friends Pet Care and let Geoff Tischman, professional pet photographer, take family pet portraits that would make a great gift for Father's Day. Advance sign up is required because space is limited. Call 914-997-0600 to sign your pet up.

Why go: Pirate School is a madcap sea-faring comic vaudeville show for the whole family, where kids are taught to be good pirates and everyone discovers their "inner swashbuckler." The Golden Age of the Buccaneer collides with magic, bubbles, and mayhem on a hilarious romp. This is recommended for ages 4 and up.
Pricing: $18, adults; $13, children.

Where/When: , 450 Central Park Ave., Scarsdale, Saturday, June 2 at 1:35 p.m.
Why go: Gymboree's classes use play-based activities to stretch the body and mind. Explore the senses and support visual and auditory development with tummy time, flashlight play, first songs and more.
