Why go: Pirates lay anchor in the Hudson River and storm Sleepy Hollow. There will be gypsy sword dancers roaming the grounds, while kids take part in the Pieces of Eight treasure hunt. 3. July 4th 'Spark the Sound' Fireworks Extravaganza
Where/When: New Rochelle waterfront, Wednesday, July 4 at 9:30 p.m.
Why go: Rain or shine, the Grucci fireworks will commence at 9:30 p.m. The best viewing will be from waterfront parks, including Hudson Beach Park and Five Islands Park.
