Columbus Day Closings in New Rochelle
Government offices and most bank will be closed.
Monday is Columbus Day, a national holiday for many local businesses. The holiday is held on the second Monday of the month.
In New Rochelle, City Hall will be closed, as will the United States Post Office. There will be no mail delivery.
The Bee-Line buses will be operating on a weekday schedule.

There will be no garbage collection on Monday, shifting garbage and trash pickup to Tuesday and Wednesday for the northern part of New Rochelle and the southern part, respectively. Garbage and paper will be picked up Thursday in the north and Friday in the south.
Both branches of the New Rochelle Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday. Most banks will be closed for the holiday.
