It's all about the arts in New Rochelle and Pelham Saturday and Sunday.
The fifth annual New Rochelle ArtsFest will run from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Participating venues in New Rochelle include Backstreet Gallery, the College of New Rochelle, Jolo's Kitchen Gallery and Thomas Paine Cottage Museum.
In Pelham, you can visit The Picture House, Pelham Art Center and Highbrook Studio.
Organizer Judith Weber, the president of New Rochelle Council on the Arts, said it's going to be a packed weekend.
"We have only 30 venues this year," she said, adding that ArtsFest has grown every year.
"It gets better every year," Weber said.
She said Gallery ROC, at 2 Division St., has worked to open the whole building to the public for ArtsFest.
New this year in Pelham, Weber said, will be artists displaying their works along Fifth Avenue.
A great feature during the weekend are the two trolleys that get attendees from the downtown area of New Rochelle to North Avenue venues, the second annual Lincoln Avenue Arts & Culture Fest to venues in Pelham and back.
The Lincoln Avenue venue is only on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
Weber said if people want to plan their trip they can visit newrochellearts.org and download schedules for both days.
"Not everybody is going to be open Sunday," she said.
