Abandoned Outside a Church, Elena Needs a Home

Here is one of the hundreds of animals available for adoption from the New Rochelle Humane Society.

From the New Rochelle Humane Society:

Elena is a one year old sweet calico now waiting for someone to make her part of their family.

This petite female was abandoned in a box outside a local church. Elena has been waiting since March of this year for someone to pick her from the 200 cats we have available for adoption.

Contact the New Rochelle Humane Society for more information. They are located at 70 Portman Rd. in New Rochelle. Their phone number is 914-632-2925.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any other…Read More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
