325th Anniversary Street Fair in New Rochelle Sunday

Main Street in New Rochelle Sunday will be the site of a street fair celebrating the city's 325th anniversary.

Produced by StreetFairs.org, in partnership with with 325th Anniversary Committee and the City of New Rochelle, the fair will feature games, food, arts and crafts and live entertainment between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will also be a classic car show and a local businesses and community showcase.

Committee Chairwoman Marianne Sussman said the street fair was a wonderful occasion for all to celebrate both New Rochelle's 325-year heritage and its present-day vitality.

"Its location on Main Street in the heart of our downtown speaks to  the spirit of this great anniversary year, honoring and enjoying our connections with each other and our beautiful city," she said.

On Sunday, Main Street will be closed from Centre to North avenues beginning at 7 a.m. Cross streets will remain open throughout the day and detours will be in place.

Free parking is available in the Church/Division, Prospect Street and Library lots.
