People in Westchester are gearing up for Lawrence Hospital Center's fashion show and dinner fundraiser for cancer survivors, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Cancer survivors and Lawrence's Cancer Care Team will be modeling the latest fall fashions at "An Enchanted Evening," on October 10 at the Lake Isle Country Club. The money raised will go to Lawrence Hospital Center’s Cancer Survivorship Program.
"The event is a great way for anyone who has been affected by cancer to join with other people in our community and help out those who have survived the disease," said Lawrence Hospital Center's Cancer Survivorship Director Shirley Stagner.
The dinner and fashion show fundraiser is being co-sponsored by Lawrence Hospital Center’s Spirit of Women Network, which encourages women to make positive changes in their lives by focusing on their total well-being, mind, body and spirit.
The event is open to the public, and will be held at the Lake Isle Country Club, located at 660 White Plains Road in Eastchester. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $30 for the general public, and $20 for Spirit of Women members. Cancer survivors can attend the event for free.
The event runs from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. For additional information, call (914) 787-5066 or (855) 769-6636. You can register for the event here.
