Mercedes Benz of New Rochelle President Joins Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle is comprised of business and community leaders who work to inspire and steward philanthropy in support of the Club and its mission of creating caring, productive, responsible citizens. Today the organization is proud to announce the appointment of Salvatore Pepe, President of Mercedes Benz of New Rochelle, to its board of directors.

Pepe was nominated to this prestigious role for his sound business acumen, company’s history of philanthropic support and personal commitment to the belief that all children should be given the chance to succeed. “The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle has a positive impact on so many young lives, said Pepe.” “I was honored when asked to support our community’s children as they realize their full potential!”

For over 84 years, The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle has been a safe haven for children. The organization offers a broad range of programs and activities in five core areas including: education and career development; character and leadership development; sports, fitness and recreation; health and life skills; technology; and the arts.  The Club serve more than 2,000 children each year, during the non-school hours when many might otherwise spend their time alone, afraid and/or at risk.  The programs are offered at 2 Club locations and 6 extension sites throughout the city of New Rochelle including Ward Elementary School, Trinity Elementary School and New Rochelle High School.
