Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle Announces Date of 51st Annual Golf Outing

The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle is proud to announce that its 51st Annual Golf Outing will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Wykagyl Country Club! The outing will be co-chaired by Mr. Bruce Daniele and Mr. John J. McCarthy, longtime supporters of the organization. This exciting event brings together local Club supporters, community leaders, and business professionals for a great day of golf in support of a worthwhile cause. Money raised through the outing benefits the Healthy Habits, Career Launch, Diplomas 2 Degrees, SMART Girls and Passport To Manhood core programs offered by the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle. The revenue generated also provides for much needed facility improvements and the Club’s general operating expenses.

“The Annual Golf Outing is our organization’s single largest fundraising event,” says Quay Watkins, Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle. “For over 50 years our friends, family members, neighbors and business community have been generous supporters of the Club and our kids. My hope is this will continue for many years to come. “

The 51st Annual Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle Golf Outing offers a barbeque style luncheon, 12 pm shotgun start, gift for each participating golfer and dinner reception complete with award presentations to prominent community leaders and top golfers alike. Individual tickets are $450 and a foursome is $1,800. Anyone interested in playing golf can register online by visiting www.bgcnr.org. A number of sponsorship opportunities and journal advertising options are also available for purchase by calling the Club’s Development Department at (914) 235-3736.
