What:   Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) Guest Maître  D’s at Sam’s of Gedney Way

11 AM to 2 PM: Betsy Steward of White Plains, WCA’s Development Director

5 to 9 PM: Dorne Massiah of New Rochelle, and Margie Orell of Chappaqua, WCA Board members and Co-Chairs of the 2013 Spring Advocacy

When: Wednesday, February 11

Lunch served 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Dinner served 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM                                

Where: Sam’s of Gedney Way 50 Gedney Way White Plains, New York

Price: No special ticket price. Regular menu prices apply.

Why: 10% of the gross revenue and 100% of tips to WCA guest maître d’s will be donated to the Westchester Children’s Association to help them continue their mission to improve the lives of Westchester’s children by shaping policies and programs to meet their needs, and by keeping the well-being of Westchester’s children at the top of the public agenda.

I think it's great that Pamela Davis stepped up to run and I would be glad to vote for her any otherRead More year. But this year we have one of New Rochelle's most dedicated and knowledgeable activists running. Bob Cox knows New Rochelle and the school district inside and out. I'm not sure the same can be said for Pam Davis. If you want someone who already knows where the wasteful spending is, and already knows the district's strengths and weaknesses, then Bob Cox is the person. Who cares how congenial he is? Where some people see anger and finger-pointing, others see tenacity and accountability.
